Duration: 12 months | Full-Time The Queen Taytu Fellowship is a full-time, career-starting programme for young adults aged 18–26 with little or no work experience who want to begin their journey in teaching as Montessori classroom assistants. This fellowship offers: Blended theory and practical training in Montessori philosophy, child development, language, mathematics, culture, and sensorial education Hands-on classroom experience within Molo Mhlaba Schools, giving real-world exposure to Montessori methods Professional and personal development, including workplace readiness, communication, and growth Digital skills training, covering basic computer literacy, Google Workspace, and practical tech skills to support teaching and administration Eligibility: Matric certificate or equivalent Little or no work experience Passion for teaching and early childhood development Curious, coachable, and eager to learn Montessori methods South African citizen or permanent resident Age 18–26 Graduates of the Queen Taytu Fellowship gain the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills to launch their teaching careers as Montessori classroom assistants and make a positive impact in classrooms and communities.
